Scholarships
Each year, The Woman's Club of Olympia awards the
Florence Brewer Memorial Scholarship
June Martinson Scholarship
to four students graduating in 2025 from a high school in Thurston County who plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, or technical college in Washington. We will award three Florence Brewer Memorial Scholarships in the amount of $3000, $2000, and $1000 and one June Martinson Scholarship of $1000. These one-time awards will be dispersed in the fall of 2025 to our winners.
Selection Criteria
Criteria for the selection of recipients include:

- Good scholastic standing
- Financial need
- Community service or involvement.
How to apply
- Application deadline is Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
- Along with submitting this form, you must submit two letters of recommendations from a teacher, adviser, counselor, or other school employee, employer, volunteer coordinator, or other non-family member. Have them emailed to purplecat53@comcast.net. Your name should be in the subject line of the email.
- Have your school email your school transcript directly to purplecat53@comcast.net. Your name should be in the subject line of the email.
- All applications must be complete by February 5, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Awardees will be notified by February 21, 2025.
