President’s message

Oh, My! It’s Fall, Y’All! And while the weather is changing, our busy Woman’s Club schedule has
not! Lots of activities are heading your way, starting with the October 3rd Fundraising
Luncheon. It’s important that you let us know if you are attending. If you do attend, you’ll also
be treated to “Dinner Theater” with the Heart Sparkle Players, as they are our scheduled
meeting program. Debe Edden, the heart of the “Heart Sparkle Players”, has been a member of our club… so let’s give her a great reception!

Thank you for all your help with bagging fruit for All Kids Win. It’s just the beginning of school and they started with a Bang! 800 students are already needing those weekend food bags. Remember,
Woman’s Club of Olympia’s day to bag fruit is the 1st Wednesday of every month that school is on, from 1 to 3. Pat Booth is my backup, if I can’t be there. It’s a really fun way to help with feeding kids.

On a personal note, thank you for all the kind words, cards and well wishes as I recovered from COVID. I am so much better now, but I was too sick to continue with the Cement Leaves…so maybe we can
reschedule. Let me know if you are interested. With your participation, we can make this a fabulous, award-winning year. It only takes a minute to answer an e-mail or send a text.

Remember, Teamwork; Makes the dream work!

See you soon, Linda Wolfe, WCO President
